Many pieces of pro audio and vintage aduio gear are well worth owning for the sound that only they have, but if they've fallen into disrepair they may not be worth the trouble, or else the purchase price should reflect the condition of the unit.
There are so many things that can be wrong with a piece of gear. Before you buy a white elephant give us a call. We can check for:

The charge for this service is $75.00/hr, with a 1 hour minimum. Consoles can be checked out in 2 to 6 hours, multitracks in 1 to 2 hours, outboard gear about 1/2hr.
