Sellers often want to know what is and isn't right about a piece of equipment so that repairs can be made or issues disclosed to the purchaser to avoid post sale headaches. 

Buyers want to know what is and isn't right about a piece of equipment so that they can make informed purchase decisions.  Many pieces of pro audio and vintage audio gear are well worth owning for the sound that only they have, but if they've fallen into disrepair they may not be worth the trouble, or else the purchase price should reflect the condition of the unit.

There are so many things that can be wrong with a piece of gear.  Before you buy a lemon give us a call.

We can check for: ​

• condition of electrolytic caps
• condition of power suppl
• condition of pots, switches and faders
• condition of heads
• condition of bearings
• noise floor
• meter calibration
• headroom

Note:  Consoles can be checked out in 2 to 6 hours, multitracks in 1 to 3 hours, outboard gear about ½ hr. , however, the 1 hour minimum charge applies here, so why not have two pieces of outboard gear checked out?
